Allen and Heath releases new mixer ….Xone 43=42+1?

Okay April 1st usually gets all the jokesters out….Google reversed all my searches, NI came out with Traktor 3… you get what i’m talking about. So when Allen and Heath releases to the press that they are releasing a new mixer called the Xone 43 I was a little sceptical. Sure enough they have released an analogue 4 channel mixer plus an extra channel for a mic or line input (4+1 channels). No Fx section like the DB series, No LFO’s like the 92, Not even the basic USB interface like 42. The Xone43 looks like the Xone42 with updated trim with a few added(or revised changes).

Who’s it For

  1. A DJ that wants a no frills high quality mixer
  2. You want that warm A&H sound
  3. You want the legendary Xone Filter
  4. You have a 4 ch. audio card already or only use CDJ/Turntables
  5. You already have FX units or use built-in software effects
  6. Just want a great mixer instead of an overrated Pioneer or Denon

All said if you start to add up the price of this mixer with a good sound card and add in some sort of FX unit your better off buying into the Xone DB2 or Xone DB4 if you can afford it! So go through the priority list to see want your needs are.
